The organic pomegranate oil is sourced from Weleda’s long-term fair trade farming partners in Turkey. The lotion’s scent is provided by a sensual mix of essential oils including exotic mango-like davana, the fresh fruitiness of orange, and warm balsamic notes of vanilla, and transports you to the tropics. The lotion is NATRUE certified natural, with 83% organic content.

Where do we source our ingredients from?

We source our organic, cold-pressed pomegranate seed oil from long-term fair trade farming partners in Turkey’s Karahacili valley. Harvesting begins just after dawn and the crop is hand-picked, carefully and laboriously, to ensure the best quality fruit. To produce just 1kg of the precious oil requires 500kg of pomegranates.
