Description

What is Brolene Eye Drops?

Brolene Eye Drops is a treatment that is intended to provide relief for the effects of eye conditions such as conjunctivitis. The active ingredient of this eye drop treatment is propamidine, which is a disinfectant and antifungal ingredient. This works by stopping bacteria growing on and around the eyes, and allows for the body to grow a resistance to the infection.

What causes conjunctivitis?

Conjunctivitis is a condition that affects the eyes and is caused either by an infection or an allergy. The symptoms of conjunctivitis include:

  • Bloodshot eyes
  • A burning or gritty feeling
  • Pus that sticks to eyelashes
  • Itching
  • Watery eyes

Generally speaking, conjunctivitis is a condition that will go away on its own, but it is contagious in a lot of instances and so treating it as soon as possible is recommended.

Who is this treatment suitable for?

This Brolene treatment is suitable to be used by anyone who is suffering from the effects of conditions such as conjunctivitis. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients that are contained in the eye drops. If you wear contact lenses, then take them out when using this treatment. If you are currently using any other form of medication, then you should speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using the eye drops.
