Ingredients Required: Meat (Mutton, Chicken or Beef), Quantity & Preparation: 750g-1kg
Ingredients Required: Basmati Rice Soaked for 30 minutes, Quantity & Preparation: 500g-750g
Ingredients Required: Onions (Fine Sliced), Quantity & Preparation: 4 (250g)
Ingredients Required: Tomatoes cut into Quarters, Quantity & Preparation: 4 (250g)
Ingredients Required: Yoghurt (Beaten), Quantity & Preparation: 1 1/2 cup (250g)
Ingredients Required: Indus Ghee/Cooking Oil, Quantity & Preparation: 1-1 1/2 cup (200g)
Ingredients Required: Indus Ginger Paste, Quantity & Preparation: 1-2 tbsp
Ingredients Required: Indus Biryani Spice Mix, Quantity & Preparation: 1 bag

Steps of Cooking
1. Heat Oil/Ghee in a pan, add onion and fry until golden brown.
2. Add meat, ginger paste, Indus Biryani Spice Mix & tomatoes. Fry for 5-10 minutes.
3. Add Yoghurt, mix well for 2 minutes.
4. Add 1-2 cups of water, cover and cook over a low heat setting until meat is tender or until oil/ghee has separated.
5. In a separate pan boil the pre-soaked rice in 12 cups of hot water, add salt to taste. Cook until rice is half cooked. Drain water thoroughly.
6. In a pan form a layer of rice, cover this with a layer of meat mix – repeat until there is no more rice and meat mix remaining.
7. Cover and cook over a low heat setting until rice is fully cooked.
8. Garnish with fried onion, mix well before serving.
