How to interpret your results:
Your doctor will calculate your stage of pregnancy based on the first day of your last period. The Conception Indicator tells you how many weeks ago you conceived. Conception occurs approximately 2 weeks before your next period is due
How accurate are Clearblue Pregnancy Tests?
The Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test and the Clearblue Rapid Detection Pregnancy Test are 99% accurate at detecting whether you are pregnant or not if you use them from the first day of your expected period. The weeks indicator is sensitive enough to be 93% accurate when you test using your first urine of the day.
Uses / Instructions
- You use both of the Clearblue Pregnancy Tests in this combo pack in the same way.
- Begin by removing the test from the foil wrapper and removing the blue cap from the end of the test.
- Hold the absorbent tip under your urine stream for five seconds, making sure that the test is pointing downwards at all times.
- Then wait for three minutes (or just one if you’re using your rapid test) and read your results.
How to read your pregnancy test results.
To read your Clearblue Rapid Detection Pregnancy Test, look at the two windows on the side of the test. If you are not pregnant, the test will show one horizontal line down the middle of the larger window. If you are pregnant a second, vertical line will appear in the window, forming a ‘+’ symbol. Although test results may show as quickly as one minute, they may take up to 3 minutes to appear.
To read your Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test, look at the indicator window on the side of the test, which will display the words “pregnant” or “not pregnant” clearly. Your weeks indicator test result may take a little longer to display, but when it does it will display one of three options:
- 1 – 2: this means you are pregnant and conceived approximately 1 – 2 weeks ago.
- 2 – 3: this means you are pregnant and conceived approximately 2 – 3 weeks ago.
- 3+: this means you are pregnant and conceived more than 3 weeks ago.
