For oral use
If you have severe liver problems your doctor or pharmacist may advise you to take the recommended amount every other day. If this applies to you follow their instructions.

Clarityn Allergy Tablets should be administered with caution in patients with severe liver impairment.
This medicinal product contains lactose; thus patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.
The administration of Clarityn Allergy Tablets should be discontinued at least 48 hours before skin tests since antihistamines may prevent or reduce otherwise positive reactions to dermal reactivity index.
Possible side effects whilst taking Loratadine tablets:
Most people can take this medicine without any problems, but sometimes you may notice some side effects which may include: headache, nervousness and fatigue, in children, drowsiness, headache, increased appetite, difficulty in sleeping, in adults.
Very rarely, severe allergic reactions (difficulty in breathing, wheezing, itching, hives and swelling), dizziness, fast heart beat, palpitations, nausea, dry mouth, upset stomach, changes in liver function, rash, hair loss and tiredness.
If you are worried by these or any other side effects, you should discuss them with your doctor.
