In addition to protecting and preserving the source, Volvic has been taking concrete steps to improve how we do business like reducing our carbon footprint. Since 1992, we have been using recyclable bottles. Throughout the years, we have significantly reduced the weight of our packaging, and increased the use of recycled plastic in our bottles with a goal of reaching 100% recycled plastic by 2025****. Volvic has also reduced its energy consumption by 29% since 2007 through investments in energy-efficient equipment and a circular approach to energy usage. In addition, Volvic is promoting low impact transport by having 33% of our transport in Europe by train.
These initiatives collectively demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability, encompassing biodiversity protection, recycled and recyclable packaging, energy efficiency, and low-impact transportation.
