Simply empty your sachet into a large measuring jug, add 3/4 pint (425ml) of water and whisk or stir until it’s silky smooth. Let it stand for 1 minute and serve with your favourite dessert, from apple crumble to a classic steamed pudding, or pour over fruit such as berries and bananas for a quick and satisfying dessert. Bird’s Instant Custard is the perfect companion. Add a touch more water for a thinner consistency or stir in a little sugar for added sweetness to create custard that’s just right for you.
