What is it used for?

How does it work?

Permitabs solution tablets contain the active ingredient potassium permanganate, which is an astringent and antiseptic.

What is Potassium permanganate?

Potassium permanganate is used for weeping, exuding or for blistered skin that requires drying up. It is only used when all other forms of antibacterial agents have been tried.

Permitabs solution tablets need to be dissolved in water, to make a potassium permanganate solution.

Uses / Instructions

Dissolve the tablet(s) in warm water.

Warnings

Permitabs solution tablets must be diluted to the correct concentration, as concentrated solutions of potassium permanganate can burn the skin.
Gloves should be worn where handling the tablets or solution.
This preparation can stain floor surfaces, baths, clothing, skin and nails.
