Description

VIRALEZE™ Barrier Nasal Spray creates a moisturising and protective barrier containing astodrimer sodium on the inside surface of your nose that physically traps cold/respiratory viruses. Viruses are naturally removed in the nasal mucus.

The active ingredient in this nasal spray is astodrimer sodium, a molecule that will act locally in the nasal cavity instead of passing into the bloodstream.

Uses / Instructions

VIRALEZE™ is a simple to use nasal spray suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

  • Simply apply one spray in each nostril while breathing in gently and you’re ready to go.
  • You can use one spray in each nostril up to 4 times a day. If you blow your nose after spraying VIRALEZE™, you will need to reapply.
  • Make sure to wash your hands before and after use.

Warnings

  • You can take VIRALEZE™ with you wherever you go, and it doesn’t need to be refrigerated.
  • VIRALEZE™ should be suitable for most adults and children over 12 years old, however, you should not use this medicine if you are allergic to astodrimer sodium, hydroxybenzoates or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.

Side Effects

  • Astodrimer sodium in VIRALEZE™ is a large molecule that acts locally at site of application and does not enter the bloodstream.
  • Astodrimer sodium has been marketed for more than 7 years in other products.
  • If you experience nasal irritation, a nosebleed, or nasal congestion, stop using the product and speak to a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

VIRALEZE™ contains astodrimer sodium (also known as SPL7013), a compound that has been shown to physically trap cold/respiratory viruses.
