What is Stérimar Baby Nasal Spray?

Stérimar Baby Nasal Spray is a natural seawater spray which is designed to help you to clear your baby’s blocked nose. If your baby is snuffly and stuffy, Stérimar could be the all-natural solution that will help them to breathe more easily and ease your worries. Suitable for use from birth, this nasal spray is gentle while still helping to clear your little one’s nose easily and effectively.

Why does my child have a blocked nose?

A blocked nose isn’t an unusual problem for young children, but it can make them feel uncomfortable and fussy. When you have a blocked nose, your nasal passages are usually swollen, which makes it difficult to breathe. A blocked nose can be caused by several conditions, but usually isn’t anything to worry about on its own. Some of the most common causes of a blocked nose include:

Cold and flu
Hay fever
Allergies
Sinusitis
Non-allergic rhinitis (inflammation inside the nose)

How will this product help to clear my baby’s blocked nose?

Stérimar Baby Nasal Spray contains 100% natural seawater, which helps to clear even thick mucus from your baby’s nose. When this mucous clears from your baby’s nose, they can breathe even through swollen nasal passages, making them feel more comfortable.

Uses / Instructions

You are advised to use this every day to clean your baby’s nose.
Press the nozzle gently before use to prime the solution.
Lay baby down on side or sit them up with head tilted sideways before administering.
Insert nozzle into nostril lightly and press without much pressure.
You should then let any excess solution run out before repeating procedure in the other nostril.
Clean nozzle with soap and warm water.
You may use six times a day in each nostril, or more if deemed necessary.

Warnings

You should keep this product out of direct sunlight, animals and children.
Ensure it is not pierced.
Be advised that it uses a pressurised container and thus includes nitrogen – however this does not come into contact with the solution.

Side Effects

Like many products, this nasal spray can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. If you experience any side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or our pharmacist.
