Preparation and Usage

Please Ensure food is fully cooked and piping hot throughout before serving.
Serve with Sharwood’s flame baked naans and mango chutney on the side.
Use more or less paste to create a milder/ spicier version.

Chicken Madras – Serves 4
1: Fry a large, diced onion in 2 tbsp oil until soft. Stir in ½ jar 2 Sharwood’s 30% less fat Madras Paste and sizzle for 2 mins to release flavours.

2: Add 100ml water and cook until evaporated. Add 650g diced chicken and fry for 5 mins, then add 1 tsp sugar (optional), 400g tinned tomatoes, 60g tomato purée and 100ml water and stir.
25-30 mins
3: Simmer uncovered on high for 25-30 mins until chicken cooks and you reach the desired consistency.
