Dioralyte works by replacing the water and salts lost from your body when you have diarrhoea. It contains glucose and salts (these are sodium chloride, potassium chloride and disodium hydrogen citrate)

Dioralyte Relief

Dioralyte powder solution provides fast and effective replacement of body salts and treats dehydration caused by acute diarrhoea. Contains pre-cooked rice powder and salts that are specially formulated to support people suffering from the effects of diarrhoea.

This powder should be mixed with water before use.

Warnings

Caution when using Dioralyte Sachets:

If you are suffering from intestinal obstruction, diabetes, kidney or liver failure, or are on a low potassium or sodium diet, ask your doctor before use
Infants under 2 years of age should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible

Side Effects

You should not normally have any side effects. Stop taking Dioralyte Relief and see a doctor or go to a hospital straight away if: You have an allergic reaction. The signs may include: a rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of your lips, face, throat or tongue.
