How to Use Aptamil 1

Sterilise all feeding equipment and wash hands thoroughly.
Boil water and cool to lukewarm (about 40°C).
Add the correct number of leveled scoops of Aptamil 1 powder to measured water (always use the provided scoop and feeding guide on the pack).
Stir or shake till fully dissolved. Feed immediately; discard any unfinished formula.
Store the unopened pack in a cool, dry place. After opening, use within the recommended period.

Uses / Instructions

How to prepare Aptamil First Infant Milk

Please follow these instructions carefully. Failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill.

Step 1

Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers’ instructions.

Step 2

Shake bottle well. Pour the required amount of milk into a sterilised feeding bottle.

Step 3

Serve at room temperature, or warmed if desired. If warmed, check temperature of feed.

Step 4

For hygiene reasons, discard unfinished milk in the feeding bottle as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours.

Warnings

This product is Halal approved but is not suitable for a vegetarian for vegan diet. Make up each feed as required. For hygiene reasons, do not store made-up feeds, discard unfinished feeds as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding. If necessary, offer cooled boiled water between feeds. Never leave your baby alone during feeding. When bottle feeding do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with your baby’s teeth as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Ask your healthcare professional or dentist for advice. Make sure your baby’s teeth are cleaned after the last feed at night.
