Sugar is a natural preservative so store me in a cool dry place so I keep indefinitely.
Preparation and Usage
Smart Thinking:
When creaming butter and icing sugar add a tablespoon of hot water to the mix – it gives you a fluffier mix faste
Recipes
Sugar Inspiration: No. 3
Buttercream
100g Unsalted Butter
200g icing sugar
1 Tbsp Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
(we use Nielsen-Massey)
Beat the butter and sugar together until smooth, then add the milk and vanilla extract.
Why not try salted chocolate buttercream? Remove the vanilla extract and add 100g of melted dark chocolate and 1/2 teaspoon of table salt.
For a citrus twist
Replace the milk and vanilla with a tablespoon of orange, lemon or lime juice.

Glac? Icing
125g icing sugar
15ml Warm Water
Sift the icing sugar into a bowl and gradually add the warm water until the mixture thickens.
Why not try a colourful glac? icing?
Just add food colouring one drop at a time!
