Create the perfect French bistro classic with Schwartz Chicken Proven?al Slow Cookers Recipe Mix, bursting with expertly blended herbs and spices, including garlic, rosemary, marjoram, basil, oregano and thyme, for a delicious flavour everyone will love.
Uses / Instructions
Just Add:
- 1 red pepper, cut into large chunks
- 1 yellow pepper, cut into large chunks
- 8 skinless chicken thighs or drumsticks, trimmed of fat
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbs tomato pur?e
Easy as 1,2,3...
1 Place peppers and chicken into slow cooker pot. Mix seasoning with tomato pur?e, and stir into the pot.
2 Cover and cook for up to 4 hours on High or up to 8 hour on Low, or until meat is tender and cooked through. (Keep covered during cooking. Slow Cookers vary. Directions based on a 3.5 litre model.)
3 Remove lid, stir through and stand for 5 mins before serving.
Try Something Different: Ideal with saute?d potatoes, garnished with Schwartz Herbs de Provence. For a meat free alternative swap chicken for a handful of peeled shallots, 250g sliced mushrooms and a can of drained butterbeans.
