What is athlete’s foot?
Athlete’s foot is a fungal skin infection which often starts between your toes before spreading onto your foot. It causes itchy, red, and flaky skin which can make you feel uncomfortable and irritated, and will often be accompanied by an unpleasant ‘cheesy’ smell.
How does Daktarin Gold treat athlete’s foot and other skin infections?
Daktarin Gold contains the active ingredient ketoconazole, which works to destroy the fungi and yeast which cause skin infections such as athlete’s foot. By destroying these fungi, Daktarin Gold helps to treat the infection while protecting against further infections.
