This non-drowsy cough syrup contains the active ingredient guaifenesin, which belongs to a group of medicines called expectorants. Covonia works by loosening the uncomfortable phlegm that can build up in the back of your throat and in your chest. By clearing your airways, Covonia banishes that chesty cough and lets you breathe comfortably again.
Covonia is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. It is also free from alcohol and sugar, making it ideal for drivers or those who follow a calorie-controlled diet.

Ingredients
Active Ingredients: each 15ml dose of cough syrup contains Guaifenesin 200mg.
Also contains: sweeteners sorbitol (E420) approximately 3.1g, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, colour ponceau 4R (E124). Anise, blackcurrant and menthol flavours (E1518, propylene glycol (E1520).
