Preparation and Usage
How to do it
You will need: 150g Plant Based Milk, Chunks/wedges of vegetables like Cauliflower, Sweet Potato, Mushrooms, Courgettes or Plant Based Protein like Tofu. Optional: a drizzle of hot sauce & parsley.
1 Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C for Fan Oven). Gas Mark 4.
2 Empty flour sachet into a mixing bowl and add the plant-based milk, whisking until fully combined (with no lumps).
3 In a separate bowl empty the Panko Breadcrumbs and the spice sachet and mix together with a spoon. Now it’s time to get your hands dirty!
4 Dunk your plant-based protein or veg into the batter mix, ensuring it’s completely coated. Next, dip it into the panko mix making sure all those lovely breadcrumbs and spices stick to the batter.
5 Place on a lined baking tray, evenly spaced apart.
6 Roast in the oven for 20-25 mins until cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden crunchy.
7 Serve with a drizzle of hot sauce and a handful of chopped parsley.
