Benylin Mucus Cough Max Honey & Lemon is a max strength formula that works to thin and loosen mucus.
Benylin Mucus Cough Max Honey & Lemon helps to relieve chesty (productive) coughs by thinning and loosening chest mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough up. The maximum strength formula reduces chest congestion.
Mucus coughs are caused by a build-up of mucus in the lungs and on the chest. The cough mechanism kicks in to try and get rid of this excess mucus. Active ingredient guaifenesin helps to thin and loosen mucus in your chest, making it easier to cough up.
Dose: For oral use only.
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:
Like all medicines, Benylin Mucus Cough Max Honey & Lemon Flavour 100 mg/5 ml Syrup can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
If you experience any of the following STOP using the medicine and seek medical help immediately:
■ Allergic reactions including skin rashes (which may be severe and include blistering and peeling of the skin) and itching.
Other adverse reactions (or side effects) that may occur include:
■ Nausea or vomiting.
■ Stomach pain and diarrhoea
Each 5 ml of Syrup contains: Guaifenesin 100 mg
