Uses / Instructions

For our recipe you will need ... 1 sachet Schwartz Somerset Pork Casserole Recipe Mix 1 tbs oil 450g (1lb) lean pork, cubed 1 large onion, diced 300ml (1/2 pint) water 1 apple, cored and sliced Directions ... 1. Pre-heat oven to 190?C, 375?F, Gas Mark 5. 2. Heat oil, fry pork and onion for 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a casserole dish. 3. Mix sachet contents with water and add to casserole dish. Cover and cook for 1 hour or until meat is tender, adding the apple for the last 30 minutes. 4. Serve with saut?ed potatoes. Hints & Tips ... Also delicious with pork chops or skinless chicken breasts, drumsticks or thighs. Why not try adding sliced celery with the apple, or replacing the water with cider. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
