What are Nurofen Tablets?

Nurofen 200mg Tablets provide rapid relief from a variety of everyday aches and pains, as well as reducing inflammation and swelling.

What kinds of aches and pains can Nurofen 200mg help with?

Nurofen can ease lots of different types of pain including:

Dental pain and neuralgia.
Feverishness and symptoms of cold and flu.
Headaches and migraine pain.
Period.
Rheumatic, muscular and back pain.

How can Nurofen help to ease pain?

Each Nurofen tablet contains 200mg of ibuprofen which belongs to a group of medicines known as Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS). NSAIDs relieve pain by changing the body’s response to pain, swelling and high temperature.

Uses / Instructions

Adults and children from 12 years: Take 1 or 2 tablets with water, every 4 to 6 hours up to three times a day as necessary (maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours).
Do not give Nurofen Tablets to children under 12 years. Nurofen for Children products are available for children from 3 months (and weighing over 5 kg) to 12 years

Warnings

Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking ibuprofen if you are allergic to aspirin, suffer from asthma, may be pregnant or receiving regular medical treatment, for example warfarin for blood clots (thrombosis).
Do not take if you have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders.

Side Effects

Reactions such as headache, dizziness, skin rash, depression may occur occasionally. Usage may induce gastric irritation, nausea, dyspepsia and stomach bleeding. Consult your doctor or our pharmacist if you have any side effects after taking this product.

Each tablet or caplet contains the active ingredient Ibuprofen 200mg. They also contain: Sucrose, Sodium Citrate, Talc, Croscarmellose
Sodium, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Silicon Dioxide, Acacia, Carmellose Sodium, Sodium Laurilsulphate, Macrogol and Black Ink (contains Shellac, Iron Oxide Black (E172) and Propylene Glycol).
