Description

Chives grow in clumps, hollow, grass-like leaves reaching a height. The stems are firm, straight, soft, and, like the leaves, bright dark green. The flowers in which the bloom for two months in midsummer form round deep purple or pink globes that make an attractive garnish.

Uses / Instructions

Package Type Bag Storage Enjoy for longer when kept in the fridge. Keep refrigerated after purchase. Suitable for home freezing. Preparation And Usage Recipe Inspiration Melt half a cup of butter with two tablespoons of finely chopped chives and a squeeze of lemon. Season and pour over gnocchi or fish. Good to know Lock in flavour by freezing. Put finely chopped washed leaves in an ice cube tray and top up with water or olive oil before freezing. Use straight from frozen. Must wash before use.
