Grown in Le Puy-en-Velay in France, these Puy Lentils have been perfectly cooked and seasoned with onion, bay leaf and olive oil. With a unique, peppery flavour and plump texture, these protein-packed lentils make a great addition to to salads, curries, casseroles or bolognese.

Preparation And Usage
Simple to prepare
Squeeze the pouch to loosen the lentils.
For best results, heat through in a pan with a dash of water. Otherwise, tear a 2cm opening at the top and microwave for 45s at 900w, or simply enjoy them cold.
A recipe for change
For quick and simple plant-based meatballs, add a glug of water to a handful of oats in a processor then blitz. Add the lentils, saut?ed garlic and shallots, flour, tomato pur?e, vegan parmesan then season to taste. Blitz again, press into small balls and shallow fry. Once browned, add to your favourite tomato sauce and enjoy!

Cooking Instructions - General. Let's Cook...
To eat cold: Serve straight from pack.; Hob - From Ambient. Bring half a pan of water to the boil and place the pouch unopened in the boiling water. Simmer for 10 minutes, then tear open and serve.; Microwave - From Ambient. Lay the unopened pack on its side and heat using the guidelines below.

Leave pouch for 30 seconds then shake well before opening away from yourself to avoid steam.
