Preparation and Usage

To Cook
Place pasta in a saucepan of boiling water and boil for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Recipes
Smoky Bacon Macaroni
Serves 4
For this recipe you will need:
500g Macaroni
250g Grated cheddar
100g Grated mozzarella
50g Grated parmesan
50g Grated smoked cheddar
2 tbsp Butter
3 tbsp Plain flour
500ml Whole milk
3-4 Rashers sliced smoky bacon panko breadcrumbs
1. Preheat oven to 200c, meanwhile cook macaroni according to pack time minus 2 minutes.
2. Melt the butter into a saucepan. Once melted, add in flour and stir vigorously for 1 minute before gradually whisking in the milk to create a smooth b?chamel sauce. Let this simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
3. Meanwhile, fry the bacon over a high heat.
4. Drain the macaroni and add the cheese sauce, whilst adding in all of the grated cheeses gradually. Stir through the cooked bacon.
5. Transfer into an oven proof dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake for 10-15 minutes or until breadcrumbs are golden brown.
