Description
Why are we moving from watts to lumens?
Watts measure the amount of energy your light bulb uses, whereas lumens measure the amount of light it gives out. Just like watts, the higher the number of lumens, the brighter the light so a 1600 lumen bulb (100W equivalent) will be brighter than a 800 lumen bulb (60W equivalent).
Conventional bulb wattage – 40W
LED Filament equivalent – 4W
Lumen equivalent – 470
