TheraPearl® 3-in-1 Breast Therapy packs can be used warm to provide relief for plugged ducts and mastitis. Use while expressing breastmilk as the heat encourages milk flow which means less time pumping the breast. Use the pack cold to relieve symptoms of engorgement.
Pack contents: 2 TheraPearl® Pads and 2 soft fabric sleeves.
Uses / Instructions
To use Cold: Freeze pack for at least 4 hours before use. Place the frozen pack into the sleeve and apply for 20 minutes. Allow at least one hour between uses or as directed by your healthcare professional.
To use Warm: Place the pack inside the microwave, lying flat, for the time indicated below
16 seconds at 1250 watts, 19 seconds at 1000 watts or 25 seconds at 700 watts. Gently massage the warm pack to evenly distribute heat as indicated by the pearls. Add time in 5 second increments until desired temperature is reached. Always test your warm pack’s temperature prior to use. Place the pack into the sleeve and apply for 20 minutes. Allow at least one hour between uses or as directed by your healthcare professional.
How to clean: After each use, thoroughly clean the pack with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly until all soap is removed. Allow to air dry completely prior to use.
