Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.; Hob - From Chilled. Fry off vegetables in 1 tbsp of oil or butter. Add 500ml stock and a sprig of your favourite herb. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 50-55 minutes until veg is tender, thicken with cornflour if required.; Oven cook - From Chilled. 200?C, Fan 180?C, Gas 6, 50-55 min
Pre-heat your oven as shown. Fry off vegetables in 1 tbsp oil or butter before transferring to a a casserole dish. Add 500ml stock and a sprig of your favourite herb and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 50-55 minutes until veg is tender, thicken with cornflour if required.

Recipe suggestion: 1 bag casserole vegetables, 250g diced meat, 800ml of stock, 35g plain flour, 25g butter, 1-2 teaspoons tomato puree. Method: Pre-heat oven to 180?C. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan over a medium heat, add 250g meat and brown gently. Add 25g butter and baste the meat. Add the contents of the casserole vegetables bag and fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add 35g of flour and mix over a low heat. Slowly add 800ml of stock and stir in the tomato puree and bring to the boil. Empty into a casserole dish, cover with a lid and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 1 hour 30 mins. Season to taste. Serve immediately.
