Our simple to bake mix, includes the cookie mix, icing and decorations, so you can enjoy more time with your loved ones this Christmas. Uses / Instructions
Get baking!
1 Preheat the oven to 180?C/160?C fan/Gas mark 4 approximately 10 minutes before your bake is ready to go in the oven, and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
2 Melt 40g butter gradually in a heatproof bowl either in a microwave on medium power for bursts of 10 seconds or in a pan over a low heat.
3 Mix together the cookie mix, 40g melted butter, and 30ml (2 tbsp) milk in a bowl using a wooden spoon until combined into a soft dough.
4 Divide the cookie dough into 8 equally sized pieces, then roll into ball shapes and place on the lined baking tray.
5 Bake in the centre of the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. Leave to cool for 5 minutes on the baking tray then transfer to a cooling rack and leave to cool completely.
6 Now make up your icing by mixing together the icing mix and 15ml (1 tbsp) water until smooth and spreadable.
7 Using a teaspoon, add the icing to the top half of the cookie, then use the back of the spoon to create the drip effect.
8 Carefully place the holly leaves and red berry sprinkles on top of the icing before it sets to finish your Christmas pudding cookie.
